Assertiveness Skills – Open Training Session 2025
Introduction
We communicate every day to inform, influence, persuade and get action from others. Most of us, however, are still unsure about what communication really is, why it fails, and how to make it effective in different situations using different methods. Assertiveness is a form of communication in which needs or wishes are stated clearly with respect for oneself and the other person in the interaction.
General Objective
The philosophy behind this course is to help delegates practice these daily encounters in a controlled environment using a variety of powerful exercises on assertiveness that help them put together effective words and say what they have in mind to get results. The goal of the training session is to train participants on effective techniques to become assertive communicators.
Target Group
This training is addressed to those that needs to develop their assertiveness skills, those wanting to improve the quality of their interaction with others and use their communication to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Specific Objectives
By the end of this course, the participants will be able to:
- understand what assertive communication means
- distinguish between assertive, aggressive and passive behaviour
- express themselves assertively using specific verbal and non-verbal techniques and get maximum results
- request what they want assertively and get it
- use a simple technique to reinforce the behaviour of others
- disagree with the other person in such a way that helps the other understand their stance on the matter without taking it personally
- express disagreement and stay friends.

Duration and Fees
Duration and period: 2 days, 1st half of April 2025
Location: Timişoara, our training room, Suceava Street, No. 5A.

Fee: The price of the training per participant is 350 Euro and includes training materials. If the training session is held in classroom, the fee also covers meals and refreshments for participants. The price does not include VAT.
