Finance Manager

We are searching for an enthusiastic Finance Manager for our client, an important international production company, located in Timis County.

                                                                                                                

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the local finance team;
  • Manages and controls the financial activities in order to ensure conformity with company guidelines, national & international legal regulations;
  • Responsible for developing and implementing new controlling procedures and processes;
  • Ensures controlling and monitoring of costs on various departments/cost centres, proposing and implementing cost improvement actions;
  • Responsible for product costing, standard cost calculation and other cost calculations required by the company’s management;
  • Participates and coordinates monthly closing process in plant. Prepares monthly reports of results and reviews with plant management;
  • Perform annual budget planning and forecasting, as well as monitoring in the current year;
  • Calculates variances from the budget, investigates reasons and reports significant issues to management;
  • Performs financial statements, reports, and operational analyses for the management, regular or by request;
  • Responsible for reviewing and developing the financial systems and processes in the organization.
  • Keep track of the cash flow and financing solutions:
    • Keep relation with existing banks.
    • Evaluate and propose alternative financing solutions (including alternative banks).
  • Monitors & reports on the working capital elements.
  • Keeps close collaboration Group Finance colleagues and with the other members of the management team.

Profile:

  • University Degree in Economics, Finance or related
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within a production environment
  • Previous experience in controlling domain
  • Good knowledge of tax laws and legal requirements
  • Good managerial competencies
  • Very good command of English (German is considered an advantage)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Problem solver
  • Proactive and positive person
  • Hands on approach.
