IT Business Application Manager – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
Our client is an important multinational company, located in Timisoara.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage business applications, principally the groupwide SAP system and associated platforms.
- Lead and actively contribute to the groupwide S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation initiative.
- Configure and sustain SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across various modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, FI, CO).
- Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification and automation utilizing modern SAP capabilities.
- Conduct requirements analysis and solution design; coordinate with business stakeholders (including Finance leadership, AP, Procurement, Production, Sales) to align on needs.
- Document configurations and modifications while facilitating knowledge transfer within teams.
- Collaborate effectively with specialist departments, Business Application Specialists, Key Users, and external consultants.
- Oversee incident and problem management, including analysis and resolution of application issues.
Requirements:
- Degree from a university of applied sciences or equivalent qualifications in (business) informatics, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience with SAP, preferably with S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas is advantageous: Procurement (MM), Manufacturing (PP), or Sales (SD); familiarity with reporting and analysis tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Knowledge of integration points (e.g., MRP, returns, goods movements) and proven end-user support skills.
- Broad experience with the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of business applications, ideally within cloud and SaaS environments.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills across diverse international stakeholder groups.
- Empathy and proficiency in engaging with various user populations.
- Practical experience with both agile and traditional project management methodologies.
- Excellent command of English required; knowledge of German is an asset.
