Senior Production Manager

We are searching for an enthusiastic Senior Production Manager for our client, an important multinational production company in the automotive industry, located in Timisoara.

 Responsibilities:

• Leads and manages the activities of the production department to meet customer and company requirements.
• Provides direction, motivation and development to human resources in the production department, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction and safety and health.
• Ensures manufacturing key performance indicators are met.
• Develops, plans and maintains the budget for assigned area.
• Ensures alignment of production plans with plant objectives.
• Develops and ensures implementation of required processes. Proposes solutions for improving production capabilities and cost saving strategies.
• Ensures production realization in the most efficient and effective way.
• Secures and monitors that quality assurance processes are followed, providing the requested quality results in the final products.

Requirements:

•  Technical University Degree
• Minimum 5 years of knowledge and experience in production management in automotive production environment
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
• Very good command of English
• Good knowledge of an ERP-software (SAP is an advantage)
• Leadership skills
• Good interpersonal competencies
• Problem solving abilities.
